Inspirational Report #10

Trending because of the new trailer for “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping”.

Variations
  1. You could host a (sort of) Hunger Games with a Rubik’s Cube theme
  2. During a competition, narrate what’s happening as if you were the host (Caesar Flickerman style)
  3. GRWM to compete in The Hunger Games (Rubik’s Cube edition)

You could make this idea with a cubes theme. For example, “When the activity requires 0 algorithms: my Rubik’s Cube friend be like…” and give logical responses to everything that the person does (as if he were acting based on algorithms), or “When the activity requires 0 Rubik’s Cubes: my Rubik’s Cube friend be like…” and stand in the middle solving a Rubik’s Cube.

Viral type of content. For this idea, you could put a camera on your cube while solving it at home, at a competition, teaching a friend, etc.

A new kind of content. For this idea, someone close to you could tell your story. Or if you want to go back to this type of content, you could tell the story of relevant figures in the Rubik’s Cube community (like the ones mentioned in previous IRs).

A new film starring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya.

Variations
  1. This is how I would propose (Rubik’s Cube edition)
  2. This is the worst thing I’ve ever done at a competition

Trending because of a cyberattack. This ideas are related to that particular game and with gaming in general:

Variations
  1. I tried to find a Rubik’s Cube in GTA
  2. POV: you’re a Rubik’s Cuber in an open world (doing side quests)
  3. My cube got hacked! (I tried solving it with missing information)

Trending because of his polemic performance. For this idea, you could solve (or pretend to solve) a cube while playing old videos behind you.

Viral type of content. It’s usually done with that sound or with ambient sound from the raw video. For this idea, you could edit a video with a funny clip from a competition or with a behind the scenes of your filming or solving routines.

An old concept that is making a comeback. For this idea, a friend could roll a cube on your back, so you can feel its shape, and try to guess it.

Viral type of content. For this idea, you could do a “Your birthmonth/sign your…”:

Variations
  1. …Rubik’s Cube
  2. …Rubik’s Cube competitor
  3. …Rubik’s Cube solving technique
  4. …Rubik’s Cube reaction to winning

19. Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair

Section titled “19. Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair”

Miniseries that is a revival of the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. For this idea, you could do a remake of the intro of the original series, to add a little nostalgia to the content.

Just like idea #18, you could edit the video as if it were a The Office episode. It’s a trending type of content that is very popular with events, so I recommend doing it with a competition.

Trending because of this clip. For this idea, you could do a hot take with fellow competitors or with friends that compete in different categories (like cup stacking).

Variations
  1. It ain’t over till it’s over
  2. YMCA (sad version)
  3. Nothing beats a jet2 holiday
  4. Forget u (tiktok version)
  5. I will always love you (tiktok version)
  6. This type of sound, edition and video concept
  7. Psychosocial (but with a twist on the video)
  8. What I’ve Done
  9. Pump up the jam (music and video concept)
